This red 20cm (4.7in) daruma is in accordance with the traditional colors and shapes. It finds the great balance by getting back straight to its initial position which makes it an authentic daruma.

The inscription on the right (anzen) is translated by safety and the one on the left (kanai) by family. The kanji "fukuiri" on the belly means 'Fortune-Bringing' and refers to its lucky charm function and to the fact its owner should add an eye to reach a target.
