Sake is a Japanese alcohol made from rice. In Japan this drink is called Nihonshu as the word sake refers to alcohol in general. Made by fermentation and brewing, it usually contains around 15% of alcohol. This traditional drink which appeared during Kofun period (300 - 710) is also used for religious ceremonies since Heian period (794 - 1185). During 500 years sake was only produced by temples and shrines and it's only from the Meiji Restoration (1868 - 1912) that its production was liberalized. We propose a large choice of assorted pots and cups.
All these articles are made with great care in Japan. Washing in dishwasher is possible but not recommended.
