It is quite difficult to refuse a favor to this adorable tanuki lucky charm which seems to implore you hands clasped. You could almost hear the whisper "Onegai", equivalent to please / I beg you in Japanese.
You can recognize some typical elements of a Tanuki: A big belly representing wisdom, a bottle of sake symbolizing merit, big eyes to see all around and make good decisions, a promissory note for trust, large attributes showing prosperity, a hat protecting from problems and a wide charming smile for its catching good mood.

ce petit tanuki est semblable à ceux que l'on trouve partout dans les petits jardins ou les courettes des maisons japonaises. Les détails sont très fins et ses petits yeux feront craquer tous ceux qui le verront !
