This original gourd shaped chopsticks holder, hisago in Japanese, represents beautiful maple leaves, red, white and green on a blue background representing the pattern of a traditional process of dyeing called Yuuzen. These maple leaves, Momiji in Japanese, are particularly admired in the fall when colors change and blaze the undergrowth.
