Chopsticks holder made of ceramic in Japan.
Sashiko (literally "little stabs") is an old traditional embroidery originally used to strengthen clothes in a visually pleasing way. It became over time an elegant design.
It inspired this beautiful chopsticks holder as it shows in its cavity the Asa no ha design (blue and white hemp leaves), probably the most used Sashiko pattern in Japan.
