Kazabana uses the Kanji for the wind "kaze" and flowers "hana" so we can litteraly translate it as wind flowers. It is a Japanese word used to describe a meteorological phenomenon in which snowflakes come riding on the wind, and a light snow that flies when the sky is clear.
Associated to this poetic image, this chopsticks will enhance your romantic dinner.
Japanese urushi lacquer is made from the sap of the urushi tree, a tradition dating back to the Jomon period (6000BC).
Laquered objects (Shikki) are sensitive to a direct exposure to sunlight. These products cannot be used in microwaves and cannot be washed in dishwasher. Urushi products should be quickly dried after washing.
