The word 'Kinkesshou' means 'golden crystal' and refers to the many reflections of the cup. As for 'Kosumosu' this is the name of an autumnal flower represented on the horizontal white band which contrasts with the dark color of the rest of the cup.
The edge of the cup is rather thin and is slightly curved outward.
