This soft looking pair of chopsticks uses a design insired by Sakura beads. The delicate and simple fragrance of the cherry blossom symbolises beauty, purity, growth and transition. Therefore pearls with the soft pink hue of the cherry blossom are considered the most valuable ones.

Japanese urushi lacquer is made from the sap of the urushi tree, a tradition dating back to the Jomon period (6000BC).
Laquered objects (Shikki) are sensitive to a direct exposure to sunlight. These products cannot be used in microwaves and cannot be washed in dishwasher. Urushi products should be quickly dried  after washing.
